Emirates FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round. This was a tense cup game were their was little between the sides. The visitors in the end were the victors by two goals to one. Another cup run comes to an end for the Pesky Bulls. Attendance 720

FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round Replay. Prescot Cables played much of the match with 10 men following the straight red card for the captain. Soon after the home side scored from a free kick. The second half was a different story where the 10 men often outplayed and dominated the play. With this control Cables came out 2-1 winners and progressed to the next round. The attendance was 229.

The first competitive match of the new season is a FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round versus Ashton Athletic. The game was a tense affair and took to the final moments for Cables to snatch a well earning equaliser making the final score 1-1 and a replay in a few days. The attendance was 385.

Pre-season match at the Joesph Russell Stadium against Accrington Stanley. Cables gave a spirited performance but it ended up a 2-0 win for the visitors. Attendance 402

The first home league game of the season saw Workington Town visit the Joesph Russell Stadium. Workington was unlucky not to gain promotion the previous season and it looked tough game for Cables. Cables in the first half took the lead and held it until the visitors grabbed an equaliser in the dying minutes of injury time. The game finished 1-1 and the attendance was 515.
